Oct. 28th, 2010 08:54 am[Jecht wakes up on Thursday to the first morning in what seems like far too long without hazmats wandering the streets and people panicking in their homes. After peering out the window to see Mayfield back to what passes for normal, he slumps back into bed, lying there and staring up at the ceiling as he reflects on the events of the past week. He'd managed to die in vain protecting a summoner who was killed the next day anyway, he never even tried to make contact with Olivier, and he'd spent the rest of the time hiding in his house complaining. If Jecht can be said to have a breaking point, these events have pushed him closer to it than he's ever been. He feels utterly useless. Like a complete failure, as a Guardian and as a man. So he figures it's not too much to ask to sleep through his job today and just lie there in bed sulking a little more before he gets up to go about his business.
Once he's finally up, dressed, and eaten breakfast, he heads outside to have a walk around town. Specifically, he's headed for the houses of anyone on the blitzball team and anyone else he happens to be friends with (you all know who you are). Anyone at these houses can feel free to answer and interact with him, but he's looking for these people in particular. And he just spends the entire day checking up on his friends and loved ones. It's about all he feels he has left to do.]
