Aug. 19th, 2010 11:00 pm[Now that box top stupidity has calmed down and Garnet's okay, Jecht has calmed down a lot. And since school's starting soon, his thoughts have of course turned to blitzball once again. The team's lost a lot of people to droning lately, so it's time to do some recruiting. To the phones!]

"Okay, listen up, Mayfield. School's startin' soon, and the blitz team's lost about half its members over the summer. So I'm gonna hold open tryouts again at the school pool all this weekend starting Friday afternoon. Bring your swimsuits or whatever you want. This time, everybody's gonna try out for whatever position they want, and my three students'll be the ones givin' the tests so I can watch how you all do. Anybody's free to show up just to watch if they want. Oh, and one more thing - don't even bother showin' up without all your damn body parts. I'm runnin' a sports team here, not a goddamn hospital. You wanna play, you better go back to the post office and get yourself fixed up. Them's the rules. Also, Zuko, you better be there too. You don't get a choice."
[And just as he said, Jecht will be waiting at the school's pool on Friday afternoon and each subsequent day during the weekend, along with Norway, Crowe, and Seychelles. Post 'em if you got 'em!]
((OOC: Needless to say, I've got Norway, Crowe, and Seychelles' players permission to have their characters here. Here's how this is going to work this time around. Everyone please WAIT to post here until those three have tagged the post. Each person who wants to try out will be commenting on either Norway, Crowe, or Seychelles' first posts, depending on what they want to try out for. The groups are as follows:
1. Norway will be helping people who want to try out for the offensive line. He will be acting as the goalie, and the prospective players will be trying to kick a shot past him.
2. Crowe will be helping people who want to try out for the defensive line. He will be carrying the ball from one end of the pool to the other, and trying to avoid being tackled by the prospective players.
3. Seychelles will be helping people who want to try out for goalie. She will be attempting to kick goal shots past the prospective players.
Jecht will be observing all of this, and perhaps periodically tagging in to make comments or heckle people depending on performance. But since what he's aiming for is two complete teams of six people anyway so they can play exhibition matches, probably just about everyone who tries out will make the team anyway. This is just a good opportunity to show off a little. So have at it, folks!))
